Weston Favell Open Gardens 2025 Sunday 29th June.

 Another successful Open Gardens took place this year, with eight gardens open in the village plus a late extra addition in Westone Avenue rather out of area, but which about thirty groups of people visited too and found well worth the visit.

We had fewer visitors this year mainly because of the excessive heat on the day I think, too much rain, sun or wind can put people off!

We raised £2100 to be shared between our two charities this year, Northampton Search and Rescue and C2C Social Action. Representatives from Northampton Search and Rescue came to a Garden Society meeting to have their cheque presented and tell us a bit more about what they do and how the donation might be spent. 

Several newer residents to the village have indicated they might be ready to open their gardens in 2027, maybe think about yours if you live in walking distance of St. Peter's Church Hall!
